Hey,
Glad to say we'll have the following Hach colorimeter available for testing your PO4's at the April meeting. Take your sample just before the meeting and bring it in a sealed container. Sample size is 10ml's, but bring extra incase of a spill, etc.

http://www.hach.com/hc/search.product.details.invoker/PackagingCode=4847000/NewLinkLabel=DR%26frasl%3B890+Portable+Colorimeter/PREVIOUS_BREADCRUMB_ID=HC_SEARCH_KEYWORD/SESSIONID|AzBNamMxTlRRek1qYzVKbWQxWlhOMFQwVlRWRXd4TVE9PUJ6UQ==|

This will tell you for sure what your PO4's are, so please don't kill the messenger if its not the result you want to see :D

You can test other parameters too with the colorimeter also, right? You just need the various test chemicals and you still mix it like any other test kit, except this reads the color and assigns the numeric value for you?

Joe, can a container of tank water be kept for 13 hrs for testing?

Its not the best, but it should give you a ballpark idea. Keep it cooler if possible.
