as the title says- been under my 8 bulk tek lightin for 5 months now and the green poc. decided to turn white with a tad of green will full polyp extension- no phosphate and only coral out of 40 sps. are 4 12ks overkill for the corals? and 4 ati blue plus actinics

Sounds like bleaching or lack of nutrients to feed the coral. Since it is the only coral that has done this I would say bleaching from to much light. Try moving it down to the bottm of the tank for a few weeks and see if it colors up.

does it take a while before it bleaches tho?

Yeah it can be over night or it can take up to a week to bleach.

its been in tank for a few months and slowy got lighter and lighter
