POD Explosion

So, how long will this last???

I was wondering why for the last week, my water was so cloudy, even after a water change. While looking at the tank today, I realized why... I have a POD Exlosion!!!

about 2 or 3 weeks ago, I seeded my new tank with Garf Grunge. Well, I can say now it was worth it. I can see pods ALL OVER my glass and on the sand(I have black sand)

How long should I wait before changing my water again or running any filtration? I do not want to suck out all the life, granted, I know I won't suck it ALL out, but I also do not want to get rid of the good stuff now that I have the tank seeded!!!

Worst part is I cannot take any good pictures of my tank with the couldiness...

What BeanAnimal said. In fact, if you don't maintain the water quality, you may lose more pods than you would remove by filtration and water changes.

I wish I could have a pod explosion lol I can barely keep them in my tank although I have never seeded maybe I should give that a try

Copepods are scavenger's they are like hermit crabs some eat detritus and others algae/phyto

I would personaly do some water changes if your water is cloudy

If you want to keep the pods alive you need to make sure they eat and have predator free place's to reproduce
