Pod life and 24/7 light

I have a young refuge 4 weeks old, a little Caulerpa and Chaeto which is starting to grow nice. One and a half kg or live rock, miracle mud and sand.

I added about 1000 pods about 2weeks ago into the refuge

There were quite small and brown but I can not see any life of them in the refuge. I am lighting 24/7 and I wonder if this might be stopping the pods from flourishing. Do they not need darkness to roam around and start doing there stuff? Or is it just a little too soon to start seeing loads of pod life in the ref?

24/7 lighting wont affect pods. just give it more time, probably another month. it can take several months for a fuge to mature enough for the pods to reproduce in large numbers. just because you can't see them doesn't mean that they arent there. they hide in the rocks and in the chaeto. you can take your chaeto and shake it out if you like so you can possibly see them.
