Was wondering if I can use this as a pod pile in which I took the sponges from this phosban reactor and added small porcelain fluval biomax cylinder's with no hole in the middle of them
and if it would work with a 100 gph pump or should I turn the pump down a bit because I kind of want to use it a bit for detritus as well I have 2 reactor's one on each side filled on this 90G while keeping a clean looking tank?
will it increase pods'?
I had it hooked up for a few week's and seem's ok so far
Was also wondering if you think since I have only 3 chromis's and 1 mandarin in the 90G and 2 of these hooked up that I might be able to come to a balance were my copepods over time might consume the light scraping of frosting of algae and light amount of detritus along with a tad bit of phyto?
im running refugeless/skimmerless
