Pods?

Would it be safe to say that the tiny things (pin point size) that I see swimming around in my tank tonight after lights out were pods? I have never seen them before nor have I put any in the tank. There were very many just bouncing around. Sorry no pics it would be impossible for me to get them. If not pods what might they be.

They are copepods. There are litterally 100's of types in the sea. But the bouncy ones that bounce around on the rock like fleas are a type of copepod. Very small. VERY good.

I assume that you have added some sort of LR to your tank. I have (pin point size) bugs that are on my glass that I am about 90% sure are copepods. Never noticed them swiming in the water colum.

At the top of (New to the Hobby) there is a thread 198 items identified, you should check that out there are several pictures of different pods. Sorry don't know how to post links yet.

Thanks for the confirmation. I was hoping that they were pods and not some evil thing.
