Pods!

I started over, all new dead rock. First dipped the old stuff in an acid bath but actually just didn't need that much rock. Even the new stuff was dipped to remove the old growth. Good news is zero pest but of course that means zero good stuff too. I found a place selling pods in Florida had them mail me 200. Can't say I was thrilled to see no life crawling around my rocks at night. Were they even alive? Been a month already.
Then 3 days ago I changed up my filter sock and decided to submerse it is water and look for any signs of life. To my surprise it was full of pods of all sizes swimming around and clinging to the wool. My guess was 40 or so with at least 7 or 8 flying....united :bounce3: Still wasn't sure if it was from the initial addition or not, so a clean sock was put in and now a few days later, again another 20 or so with a few couples enjoying life.
I think it's safe to say I have an expanding amount of pods growing. So Instead of washing out that filter sock, get it a look under strong lite first.
