it can be done, but it will need alot of elbow greese. I would pick up Novus #2 and 3, 2 for smaller scratches, and 3 for bigger ones.
if you have a buffer, itd be the easier to do.
i have a polisher/sander that i used.
but FWIW, i also bought a 100 gallon tank with scratches. and as i got into trying to buff them out, it just became WAY too long.
i ended up paying like 250$( OUCH!) to get the scratches buffed out professionally.
