yeah,bluey green eyes .........absolutely stunning.
My theory is that if you get them small enough,and i mean small,then they become used to you being their food source and leave the other stuff alone.
Like i said he is in with mainly softs but there is a couple of large montipora and several 'clumps of seritapora and he really has not sampled anything.
Smaller snails have become snacks but large turbos are left alone and i have a certain snail species that breeds so rapidly that they became a pest ...........untill enter the blueline!.
He keeps the shallow sandbed clean but does tend to move a few pieces of rubble about that have lots of golden bush on them but it tends to frag them all over the place.
Feeding time can be a little harrowing for the other fish as this is the only time any aggression is shown but they have learnt to avoid him.
I am sure that as he grows more from his present beefy 6" he will become more destructive but at the moment he is a model citizen and ......at risk of getting flamed.....there are 2 blood shrimp,1 huge boxer and an arrow crab in with him that have been there for the 14 months i have had him.
