I was wondering because I had colorful sps only around 20% of the time in my entire sps experience. :spin2:

For the most part, yes my acros are colorful all the time. With the exception of new additions, which can take days to months to return to their true colors. Occasionally one coral will get a problem and lose color...recent examples of problems that caused color loss for me were an acro crab living in a pocillopora, and another sps of mine is being shaded by another acro that had grown large. These are isolated incidents, not widespread loss of color. For the most part, at a minimum 90% of my corals are colorful 100% of the time

I have a thread I created today in this forum with a video of my tank. It looks like this every day, I just keep the glass clean to enjoy it.

I voted 80% because I did have troubles in the beginning of keeping sps before I really got things stable.

I seem to loose colors only when I start to mess with things and get my hands wet. I've learned over the years to fight the temptation of moving things around and my corals will grow and keep color. My vote is 80% of the time as well.

80% only because every year or 2 something happens.....4 weeks ago I had a temp spike to 84.5.....multiple days before I caught it. Everything getting back to normal. The Last issue before that was about 2 years ago, Bryopsis.....4 months of hell...hav't seen it since.....can't remember before that, lol.

Hard question to answer. I have some pieces that are always coloured and some that are finicky. I'd say overall since things sort of "settled in" 80%-90% of my tank looks the way it does all of the time.
