Poll: What type of corals do you keep?

interesting! there should be an option for that, I think that many people do that.

i could only click softies, cuase there is no option for lps and softies only, plus i keep zoa's too

i keep 80 % lps so i just clicked that, though i do have a few leathers and some zoas. interested in keeping some sps in my 20" tall tank, i only have 130 w pc and no skimmer so I dont think i have many choices if any. Chris if you have any suggestions i'd be willing to take your advice.

I would advise that you invest in a quality skimmer. It makes life a lot easier on us reefers.

i'm looking now, thinking of an octopus skimmer that i saw and came with good reccomendations

I tried keeping sps but didnt think I had the lighting for it at the time. I might be trying it again in the near future now that I upgraded. But for now I have lps and softies

Actually lps and sps mix quite nicely. I voted sps but actually keep both.

I have a mix of shrooms, a toadstool, zoo's, brain/lobo, hammer/torch/frogspawn, xenia, monti plate, plating hydnophora. But I voted mainly softies since that's what I have the most of.

The second tank has a couple of frags of things from the main tank.

I think I have just about every coral there is except for sps. I do have some sps, but they never do that well. I don't really buffer or H2O change close to enough.

As for skimmer choice on a 37, jessp, I absolutely love the AquaC Remora pro with the mag 3. You can find them on RC for about 100-150 dollars(depending if you want the preskimmer box for it) if you are on at the right time when one becomes available. I have one on my 55G and one on my 50G. I ran it on a 30G and it did spectacular.
