I am wondering what the type of Lighting provides the Most Growth for Zoanthids?

T5
LED
Metal Halide

Please Post (And Vote) on what type of Lighting you use over your Zoanthids and Why you use those Lights?

Any info on this would help greatly.

Does one type give you the Best Growth?
Does one type give you the Best Color?
Does one type give you the Largest Polyps?

I have two different Aquaticlife T5-HO fixtures that total 4 bulbs. They are both newer fixtures on the tank, but my Zoas seem happier with the new T5's as opposed to my LED system I had before. Even some of the tiny polyps that wouldn't open under LED are opening now

I voted LEDs because I can keep Zoas at any level in my tank and they always grow great. I also have a buddy that only runs LEDs in his 200gl tank and they grow much better than when he had T5 lights.

My system is a DIY led one, using Rapidled heatsink and 3W LEDs from eBay. I also added a controller for sunrise and sunset modes.

I'm old school and run MH's. I have tried all other lighting and I still go back to MH's (radium 20K). I have experience with LED's but haven't tried the hydra 52's which if I were to officially swap over that would be my go to. So as far as growth for any corals metal halide for IMO.
