Polyclad Flatworm question

So tonight I was looking at the tank and saw what I think is a polyclad Flatworm cruising the sand bed and the glass. I read about these guys and the sound like bad news. So, he has been scooped from the sand bed and is now chillin like a villain in a saltwater filled salad bowl. It looks so cool, I hate to kill it and I have no evidence that it's hurting anything. Here's my question........is it safe to keep it in my sump? Or is that stupid? I would hate to have it get sucked into a pump, and have one Flatworm turn into a thousand in my display tank........

I guess I want to be sure before doing anything rash....... I included a picture. It really is beautiful.....

Nice flatworm. I wouldn't let it anywhere near my tank. I have lost snails and I'm pretty sure a small tuxedo urchin to a 4 cm one. Consider yourself fortunate to have removed it so easily and in one piece
