Polyethylene sump

I set up a 220 gallon aquarium about 15 years ago. I can't fit a single large sump in my stand, so I currently have two plastic tote bins (joined by bulkheads) linked together to house my drain lines, skimmer, heaters and return pumps. I am now worried about the plastic totes getting old and want to redo my sumps and plumbing. I will still need to use multiple sumps linked together, just using bulkheads as I currently do. Either I would need someone to custom make my sumps to fit or I will need to make them myself. I am not comfortable making acrylic sumps myself, so I am looking at using molded polyethylene tanks. They are expensive, but not quite as much as acrylic, and they appear to be a bit easier to drill. Should be stronger and more stable than the totes I am using currently. Also, being molded, they don't have any seams that may leak with time if I don't weld the acrylic properly. Anyone ever use polyethylene tanks as sumps themselves or have any experience with them?

I'm not sure exactly what it's made of, but many of us use rubbermaid stock tanks as sumps with great success.
