Polyp Lab-Reef Roids

Maybe there will be some info at WMC. I'm skeptical. Reefroids just sound rude, like "Pass the Preparation H"!

Sounds like a sweet product for LPS. I wonder if clams will take it. The micron size is too small for SPS it seems.

When I first heard of it I thought it was talking about hemroids..
I was like what the heck kinda of product is that!?!?!?

Then I found out it's short for steroids.
hehehe

Yeah, but is it actually usable food that the corals will accept, or just some irritant that makes the corals polyp-out so the can wash it off in the current (like Mark Weis products)? Seems like a lot of the So.Cal reefers experienced a considerable amount of slime generated by their corals. Looks like Polyp Labs sells a nice selection of non-specific "magical additives" as well.

I'll wait until the jury re-convenes in a few weeks.

Not buying into it, I'm with Rich. Just because it triggers 'a feeding response' doesn't mean it's a good thing. If I was going to spend my $ on something like this I'd go with either Prodibio or Zeovit - I have seen some very impressive results with both those systems, but that whole school of husbandry isn't really for me.

Me too. I get a similar feeding response by cleaning the glass and stirring the sand. I want to see ingredients and reviews before I buy in.

Here's another new product I just found advertised in the SPS Keepers Forum:
