Polyp Lab sample?

Got my Polyp Lab Reef-Roids sample in the mail today. Has anybody tried it yet?

Just opened mine also. I'll save it for when I have a few more corals.

Got mine as well. I tried it per instructions and there was a feeding response in my corals. I couldn't really tell for my Goni, because my clown hosts in it.

So it looks good so far, I am going to save the rest for my frag tank to see how well it works.

Got mine today too.....................Will feed the flower pot tomorrow & let everyone knows how it goes.............

Got mine yesterday too. I forgot I had requested this stuff and was freaked out at first that someone was sending me a packet of strange powder in a plain envelope :lol:

Seems like a lot of us all got our samples on the same day. I was reading the instructions and although it specifies the amount to use it didn't specify how much water to use although it did say "target feed the past to your corals."

How much water is everyone using to make their paste?

Correction - "Target feed the PASTE (not past - LOL) to your corals.

I just mix it up liberally with water and use a turkey baster. I actually purchased a little thing of it a month ago. It illicits a feeding response for sure. I can't say whether or not it's done anything specifically fantastic for my corals though. Granted it's not like I've got a ton in there....

My packet looks suspiciously like the spices from Carrol Shelby's chilli kit (in the brown bag).

Based on my experience with Reef Chilli, I would say 4-8 oz. of water.

I injected my corals today with a big dose of Reef - Roids. They bulked - up right away! They are now training for the "Ultimate Coral Fighting Championship" (UCFC). LOL j/k

Seriously - I mixed the powder with a little bit of tank water and used a turkey baster to target feed. So far my corals seemed to like it. I got a feeding response. Only time will tell. I'll give them some more in a couple days.
