I have a brown button polyp not opening. Water is all in check... been on top of my water like flies on poo so its not that . Tried changing flows and also a fresh water dip. Could my lighting not be enough ? Pics will be added also. I have 2 18 inch 50/50 clf reef sun 6500k bulbs on a 60 gallon tank

looks like there may be some sediment in the colony which could possibly irritate it. but if the water is in good check, then i would honestly say to leave it alone. sometimes corals just take a while to comfy. if you havent noticed recession, i am prone to say there is not an immediate problem. stop messing with it. medium to low light, medium flow.

Was thinking on going with a 48 inch t5 ho double fixture might just be a bit under lit I think. But my green button is perfect I just got today opened up with in 2 hrs after drip acclamation.

Check your water... corals will expand with no light if they are accustomed to a certain photo-period if they are not open they are being irritated, since all of them are closed and have been closed I'm prone to believe you are have and alk/calcium issue.

When mine did that my salinity got high. Id say check salinity.. Other than that id say maybe too much light... But if theres something irritating it rub the polyps with ur fingers to rub off the stuff that irritating it. Worked for me
