Polyp placement

I bought some green star zoos this weekend and have had a bugger of a time keeping them in the crags of the rock I placed them on. I read that people use super glue - is this a MUST? Would they attach themselves eventually?

Thanks for your help

You can use super glue gel and put it on the rock or whatever they are attached to, then stick it to something else. Eventually they will spread out and cover.

i just used some super glue gel to attach some zoo frags to a bigger rock the gel is so much easier to wirk with

bubbareef welcome to rc. reg. super glue is real runny very easy to get on the polyp were you dont want it and even your fingers :)

And you only need a little bit of the gel to glue the frags down, just little dabs.

Yes, Super Glue Gel is a must!

The normal stuff is watery and leaves little room for play. The super glue gel gives you literally 30 seconds to a minute.

I've never used it underwater completely, but instead have always taken the rock and polyps out of the water. If you are taking them out of the water to frag and stick, grab a small container of tank water to dip them in after you stick them. It helps the glue cure much faster.
