polyp vs base color?

Ok in the past I have always ran 400wmh and now in the new system I bought came with t5s only 4 bulbs. Corals r all growing nice but I have noticed that the new growth dosnt have as much color on some corals. I know to much light can turn it white so can not enough light cause them to have less color? Nitrates 0 phosphate .01 alk steady at 9 cal 455

I have 4 T5s on my system and all have nice color. Even restored some bleached/stressed SPS. I would look at your bulbs and what kind they are

Not enough light will cause them to brown out or turn greenish colors.
