polytoxin...benifit?

I was only making 1 frag, it was going to be quick, and I didn't grap the gloves, just the knife and rock. Well the gloves would not have helped anyway as I was sqirted in the forehead. With in seconds my entire head felt warm. It has now been about 2 hours and this warmth has spread down my body. Along with the warmth is a tingling and a nasty taste in the mouth. Here is the interesting part. I suffer from some neck and back alments. In physical therapy, meds, doctore visits, bla bla bla. As the warmth spread down my back the pain in my spine has faded. To give you an idea of what I am dealing with the only pain med that takes the pain away is norco 10mg, a very strong pain killer. Now I am not about to start rubbing the zoas on my face as a pain killer, not yet at least, but I wonder what medical science is doing with these polytoxins. Anyone know? I am guessing that someone out there would be interested in this.

Re: polytoxin...benifit?

Perhaps this particular palytoxin has a botox type affect where is cause the muscles to contract, thus alleviating your back pain. Or more likely, you just had a mild anaphylactic reaction, which caused vasodilation causing more blood flow to your back and loosening the muscles. You felt warm and your body just recognized that and not the pain in your back, like putting icyhot or the like on sore muscles. Of course there is always the placebo effect. How are those options for ya?

Maybe we could start a study, anyone want to volunteer?!? I could get some epipen's in case anyone starts to die on us. ;)

FYI Norco is a strong pain med but nothing compared to morphine, oxycodone, or hydromorphone....etc. It is the strongest pain med that can have refills though. :D
