Pom Pom Crab Question

I have a pom pom but he could care less about the RBTA in the tank. He just lives in the rockwork and gets his food as it floats by. I have had him for about 7months now.

Update!

I looked at my pom-pom crab yesteday and:
1. he had bigger white anemone in one hand - I assume it's older pale one he lost.
2. he had 2nd dark grey/brown anemony in the other hand.

Where did he get 2nd one?

He was holding aptaisia ;-)))
I could not stop laughing ;-)

I'll try to take pics of this phenomena.

I have heard that they will pick up anything for defense!! That is so cool....get a pic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update.....Both of my pom poms have BIG ananemones. One got prego... I witnessed them "hugging" on the rock for over an hour. After a few weeks she lost her orange "basketball" lol.
