Ponds and jumping?

I know some of you guys are building shark ponds, and with sharks being decent jumpers, what prevention are you using/going to use to keep them in the pond? Maybe I'm just not understanding the build of the ponds you guys are talking about. I'm really curious though. I've always wondered if it would work to build a pond for not a shark, but an arowana - a really good jumper. I just don't know how one would keep it in the pond.

eggcrate lid, or fish net. My plans includeing making a lid similar to one for a terrarium, I was going to build a metal pipe cirlce (get a long pipe, and use my pipebender to make a complete circle, powerdercoat that, then use screen door netting over that, so I can remove the it all as a whole.

My buddy has a pond with an arrowana in it. I know that it jumped out one time while he was feeding but that was the only time. The top is totally open with nothing to stop jumping. Your best bet is to put about a 1' lip on the inside. It jumps all the time but it usually hits the side before going over.

I plan on doing something like this, that way I'll have a clear view of my sharks.
