What size tank do you have? How deep is it? Where is the coral at in the tank? What do you have for flow? Sorry for all the question just trying to help.

2 400w MH+ 4 t5s soon to be a 250 MH , low in the tank, med flow, 210, no direct flow.

Lights on for 7 hours.

No PE when params are good, could be red bugs. Have you looked at the coral under magnification or with a macro lens? red bugs are very hard to see even whey your looking for them with a lens.

I have never seen any fish nip at the corals in my tank. All other corals look ok I will double check for red bugs and flat worms but do not think that is the problem. Thanks for the help.

This acro has been here before and recovered so maybe I'll get luckey.

Well not so luckey.

OK bad news I am 85% sure it is red bugs. I can't see any on the coral in ? but I can see small orange pods on another acro frag, so what next. Do I take all acros out for a dip or what? Is Interceptor the only way to get rid of them?

I need a course of action thanks.

i had the same prob, bought a halichoeres melanurus wrasse, pest eating machine all day long, acros back to good health, and the good part is, the wrasse looks great in the tank. find a wrasse you like, do some research as to its appetite and give it a shot.

I have 2 wrasse 6 line and yellow coris. This problem may be at critical mass. I hope not.:sad2:

I have Several sps this is the only one not doing good at this point.

The halichoeres melanurus wrasse will eat flat worms but will it eat red bugs? I don't know anything about treating red bugs sorry.
