he was moved 3 times in 4 days, adn today he doesnt look good, he has a circle on him bottom fin, and some dark reddish looking splotches on his body. hes swimming very poorly at the botto mof the tank, but he did pick a few things off the wall to eat... oh well, i guess a fis can only handle so much stress from moving, now i need to go get me a new pygmy.

this one wasnt very lucky thoug, 2 weeks ina row he got chewed up bad, one week by a clarkii, which i moved to another tank, the next week by the pseud, which also got moved, looks liek he does have a nip out of his tail, mybe the yellowtail damsel, he is kind of aggressive, but it does give me an excuse to go to the LFS once i get some money

any recomendation on a new fish, i think i might get another pygmy, they are beautiful

Why give up on this one so quickly? He's not gone yet, there may still be hope. If you get him in a quiet hospital tank of his own (even a Rubbermaid tote with a little sponge filter will do) and feed him high quality foods soaked in vitamins he may just recover - marines are tough and can bounce back from some pretty horrible injuries; I've seen some pretty sick fish at the LFS where I work and many make it through.
It sounds like he was beaten up pretty badly, so watch for bacterial infection and treat with antibiotics if he needs it but please don't give up yet.

i turned onth lights once more, to check on him, he was in his favorite spot, in a hole in one rock, i woke up this morning, looked for him, all discolorations are gone, and if oyu ask me, he looks better, and is swimming better than ever, maybe it has to do iht something in the new bed, he did look alittle stoned... hehe

yae he got chewed up bad twice, half his tail completely gone, 2 large bites onhis side, 3/4 right fin gone one week, liing on his side panting, got the fish out of there, put in another tank, let the angel repair itself in the better tank, next week semt thing again, different fish, not as bad, becasue it was a smaller fish
