Don't think so. Its just, for me, when spring has sprung and the windows are open, you'll see it reflected in your pH is all. If you have open air circulating all the time, you won't have the build up of CO2 like us shut-ins.
Put the screen back into the front door (which is right next to the tank) and have had the door open the last couple of days. I really need a pH boost!
