popeye - triple sulfa? reef safe

I came home today and my prized clownfish has a puffy eye...I am not sure if he scratched it or what...I got some Triple Sulfa...is that reef / invert safe? I doubt I can catch him in my 125?

I wouldn't do anything. So long as the fish is still acting healthy and not showing other signs of stress, simply maintain a healthy environment and in a few months it should be gone.

melafix has been pretty good for me they only thing is you can't use your skimmer. It does make the corals a little uncomfortable at first but I have used it in my coral system with great success.

Sounds like a gram positive infection has set in. Erythromycin should knock it out if you remove the fish to a hospital tank - it is NOT safe to use in a reef.
