Hey everyone,

Just curious as to what photography forum, if any, that you guys visit. I'm looking for a place to find some good tips as well as galleries to view professionals/hobbyist photos.

A google search doesn't really turn up much except a couple sites that appear to pay for higher search results.

Just let me know what forums you guys are at and I'll come join you :D

Yeah, I'd definitely check out POTN. Even if it is getting infiltrated with those darn dirty Nikon users ;)

I'm a member of the Photo Forum as well, and it's a pretty good site, but I prefer POTN and visit it far more often.

Macro shooting is a different animal. The knowledge that can be gained, even from Canon shooters, is something that can't be ignored. Also, I will be purchasing a Canon body one of these days. I need to try an MP-E-65.

You can also go to school.

Both have already been mentioned, POTN and fredmiranda. POTN is pretty much the RC of the photography forums though it is Canon centric. You'll find a lot of RCers on there even ;).

Fredmiranda is a good forum too, another if you're into micro and macro that is good to read is http://photomacrography.net/forum/ . Little forum but cram pack full of information on the specific area of macrophotography.

Yeah, the MP-E-65 is a pretty cool lens. I don't use mine nearly enough. I'm surprised they don't make some sort of adapter for a Nikon mount. That lens is about as manual as you can get. I'm surprised they didn't just go old school and have the aperture control right on the lens.
