Yes the live rock will help to get the biological aspects of the system going, this is a good thing. Dry rock typically takes longer to cycle the tank, only due to life being absent. Live rock, live sand, and 14 days of dosing Bio S and you should be ok to add inverts like snails and hermits and such. Assuming they do ok, you can then begin to stock easier corals and hardy fish. Do this when the ammonia is no longer present in the tank, as well as nitrites. Nitrates should also be relatively low. Good luck
