Porcelain Anemone Crab (Neopetrolisthes ohshimai)

has anyone had these? im looking to add one to my 40 breeder clown tank.

Had a pair. Loved them. Very hardy and never left the anemone.

I don't have an anemone, but I have the crab. He staked out a spot in some polyps and he's always front and center. Great little guys.

im going to have 2 bubble tip nems 1 for the clowns and 1 for the crab

I have one (white porcelain) that came with my PLTA and one (not anemone "friendly) that came as a hitchhiker (purple porcelain).. LOVE them both!! I also have Pom Poms which I recommend to anyone that has a "safe" reef for them!!!! :bounce3:

Yup, I have a Pom Pom too, but I only see him once or twice a month. Just about the time I'm sure he's a goner, he shows up begging for a snack.

they're great but the clowns might bother them if they're sharing an anemone.

And i do not think you can assume things will "just work out" if you have 1:1 ratios of clowns and crabs to anemones.

But yeah, one of my all time favorite reef creatures.
