Porcelain Anemone Crab question.

Can these guys swim? A day or so after adding one to my tank I found him climbing on the foam ring of my HOB skimmer. I scratched my head for quite a bit at that one, having no idea how he got up there.

They flap that underside part for thrust.

Like a little shell shaped flap - hinged from the back end opening downward.

Funny little crab, seems to be all over the tank. One day it's perched on a rock at one end, another rock the next day. I never see it move but it's in a different spot when I check the tank. It was only the one time that it was up high, due to swimming. Must have been pestered by one of the fish or hermits.

I think they tend to move a lot at night because every time I check the tank with a flash light he is out in the open and goes darting for a hiding place

Witnessed it move from one rock to another yesterday. I think I'm going to name it Bouncer due to it waving it's large claws around. lol
