Porcupin Puffer has a bad eye

Ive had my puffer for about 6 months...always happy and healthy...well came home yesterday and his eye is solid white and has what appears to be scratch marks in the center..I know there is such a thing as pop eye but it never looked different until yesterday...Is it possible that he just ran into a hard coral or something?...and if it is solid white is there any chance of him getting his sight back?? also should I give him some kind of vatamins to help heal the wound?

Porcs often have bilateral cloudy eyes. If he never had this before, maybe it could be flukes. Perhaps a freshwater dip would help.
