I have mine in the center of the tank , 6-8 inches from surface and in medium flow. I am running 1@ 250 watt Metal Halide and 4@39 watt actinic T-5's. It is growing well and Loves the light so you could give it as much light as you have with no problems. Do you have branching and encrusting or both?
