My apex is working on my home network. I am trying to set it up so I can access it away from home. I have an arris router. When i go to set up a virtual server for port forwarding I try to use the 9900 to 80 on the apex instruction page, but it tells me invalid range of ports. Any ideas? Thank you in advance for any help.

A screen shot of the router would help. As you mention range I wonder if you may be changing something different. What you want to look for is 2 single values; 1 for the public port (9900) and another for the internal port (80).

Thanks for the help. I feel like an idiot trying to figure this stuff out. I went through a bunch of the apex instructions and still can't figure it out. Here is a screenshot of when I am trying to add the port forward. I looked up my router on the port forward website referred to on the apex manual and it says to put 80 in for both?

Here is a link to the instructions on portforward.com for my specific router. This is where it says to put 80 for both?

I tried using these instructions also. Thanks again for any help you can provide.
