Portable RO unit?

For the last 6 years I have religiously paid a visit to the LFS every Saturday to buy one bucket of RO water and two buckets of salt water for my 29 gal.
Now that everything is almost moved to the new 90 gal I was kind of hoping this trend should finish purchasing a RO unit.
The problem is that I don't have a fish or equipment room where I can permanently install the unit therefore I was thinking about having a portable unit mounted on a wheel barrel where I can also keep a 20 gal tank for making saltwater.
The idea is to roll the cart close to the sink the night before the change and keep it there long enough for the unit to produce the water and"¦"¦. you get the picture.

Anybody else move a RO unit around the house?
Does this plan sound familiar to anybody?

Any recommendation about a small RO unit that's not too expensive?

Your plan will work. You will just need to buy a faucet adaptor for the unit. There are two adaptors, one for a normal faucet spout and one for a garden hose/laundry sink spout. Determine which sink you plan to run your RO unit on and buy the adaptor that fits.

As for RO units, I have been using a 100 gpd RODI unit that I bought off ebay for the past five years. I think I paid $100 or $110 for it and it has worked well. I just ordered a 150 gpd unit from Bulk Reef Supply a few days ago. I have read positive reviews on the BRS RODI units, but I have no first hand experience with them, yet.
