Has anyone here ordered a tank from them? I placed a custom glass tank order in February and they told me that when it came in, it was damage (April 1). They said they were going to order a new one, however I haven't been able to get a delivery date out of them.

For the past two weeks all of my emails and voicemails have not been returned. I am just wondering if any other users have had experiences with them?

If I am unable to complete the order through them, are there any other local glass tank manufacturers that are reliable? The design is pretty simplistic, front starphire, with center back overflow.

Our local industry sucks for getting anything manufactured here .

Just go to glasscages.com and order . There are "pick up" spots when they are in town every couple months . think the next is may 6th in orlando .

they arent "great" to work with but for something simple they are pretty darn good.

Did you prepay at all? If so, they could be stalling so you can't reverse the charge. Not saying that is what they are doing but if you did prepay, I would call the CC and get your money back asap. Many credit cards won't reverse charges after 90 days.

I did prepay using paypal. I have heard nightmares about glasscages so I just don't think that is an option for me. I am going to file a complaint with paypal and see what happens.

never used them but thought about it recently, but haven't heard any experiences...they alot of maintenance I know on the coast.

no glass cages has problems with acrylic . and their drivers tend to be late by 45 min which can be annoying and besides the women the old guy who works there is quite the mouthy wiener head .

are you going rimless or not? what deminsions are we looking at there are upper tier companys which make outstanding tanks but you will be paying 1k for a 120g and up .

Dimensions: Rimless 48 x 18 x 30 its a strange set of dimensions I know, take a look at the attached picture, it will show why. (sorry for the quality) The big white spot is the tank location and there is a closet adjacent that can be used for equipment.

Front panel starphire glass, black film on the back and sides.

I paid $950 for the tank to be built by Poseidon and at this point I just want it done correctly.

Since you used paypal you are able to get a refund if things don't go right soon. It sounds like you are getting the run around to me.

Paypal wont refund if you waited past 30 days I believe. I'd personally go through your credit card and skip paypal. Don't let time run out.
