Possable to use aquaclear 70 filter for HOB refugium???

I have an extra aqaclear 70 i want to try to use it as a refugium, is it possable? I can get some chaeto from a friend and have the AC 70 laying around and seeing i don't have room for a sump or fuge in my stand, why not see if anyone ever used a HOB power filter as a HOB fuge.
