I just noticed that one of my digitatas was turning white from the bottom up. I looked but didn't notice anything unusual but broke off the plug and tossed the dead parts. Now today I notice a bit of my setosa is turning white. I just got new bulbs but I am afraid I might have some sort of pest. Any ideas?

I will try and take a photo later and post.

Never had it so let mme know what I should do.
Thanks.

They wouldn't be Acro eating flatworms becouse both of the corals you described are montiporas. There are monti eating nudibranch's that are brobably eating your two corals. Take both out and do a series of iodine dips witha small baster to blast into the small cracks. Good luck buddy!!

craig, if there are monti eating nudi's in ur tank they will start at the base and slowly work upwards. look very close at the bases of the two corals when the first light comes on and you will see them hastily returning to underneath the base or a nearby crevice. the look like moving detritus. nastly lil bugger:uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi::uzi:

Thanks Jeff and Jake,
I havent seen anything yet except for a starfish eating one of my birdsnests. As soon as he gets to a good spot off he goes!!

I am hoping it isn't those bad guys the only coral that started form the base I broke off and tossed the base. I haven't checked though after dark I will now.

Thanks again.
