Possible Aptasia???

Hello all,
Last night, my water seemed to finally be clearing up after I added sand from a previous established reef tank to my 55g one that am starting. I noticed this on one of the small pieces of rock a little pink, what looks like to be an Anemone waving with the current. Its pink, about a centimeter when its all fanned out. I left it alone. This morning, I got up and decided to check it out. It was no longer attached to the rock. It is now rolling around on a section of sandbed attached to what looks like a big green raspberry. (Eggs?) Anyways, I found a simmilar pick of this thing and it looks like an Aptasia. Can anybody confirm what this is from these two pics? I appreciate the help. By the way, thanks for the help in chat Minderasr.

It looks like it could be a Majano Anemone. The green stuff appears to be a clump of bubble algea or Grape Calupra (sp?).

The Majano will often release, and can travel all through your tank. They appear more attractive than Apitisia, but be sure they can reach high proportions, sting and kill corals just the same. the Majano can be much more difficult to control, there is far fewer predators. I post from experience with these. They stink.

I'd say get rid of it, and the clump of green, IMO, before you begin to stock your tank.

Thanks for the reply. I will get rid of it as soon as I can find it again. After posting about this, both the anemone and what it was attached to is no longer in sight.
