I may be consolidating my two tanks into 1 big one and gauging interest.

I currently have up and running a 150G DD Rimless 48"x36"x21". It is housing fish and corals at the moment. 3/4" glass and starphire on the 3 viewing panels. Tank is roughly just over a year and a half old.

I also have a 90G 36"x24"x24" Rimless. 1/2" glass and starphire on the 3 viewing panels. Couple years old housing a peacock mantis at the moment.

Looking to do a 6'-7' long tank by 24" or deeper front to back dimension.

I can post pics later if their is interest. Custom stand built by me to house both tanks on 1 stand. The stand is not complete as I just set it up a few weeks ago. So you have the option to skin it as you like or leave it el natural. I also have a separate stand for the 90g by itself if interested in that. Again, just the raw stand no finish. Both stands are sealed and built to last.

Let me know if you have any questions or need additional info. Dre has seen the 150G along with Crooks as they helped me move the beast into the house.

Thanks,

Todd

I haven't even put a thought to pricing yet. I am basically attempting to see if I have interest in the tanks as well as trying to incorporate my current equipment into the new tank.

I can tell you what the tanks were new and start there.

150gDD - $1,600 plus shipping
90G - $760 plus shipping

I forgot to add that both tanks have center back pane overflows. Both have a black acrylic cover that houses the glass overflow and the back pane is painted black on both tanks. The 150G has a dual 1 1/2" drains with 3/4" return and the 90G has a single 1 1/2" drain with 3/4" return.

Also to let everyone know, I am attempting to work a deal with Larry for his 210G. The sale of my tanks does not impact that purchase at all. I am simply trying to figure out, as mentioned above, how to incorporate my equipment into that tank. Mainly the custom sump I have which is as wide as the 210 so it will not fit under the stand which is the dilemma.

Build an oversize stand! I like the look of a nice slab of wood showing around the bottom of the tank. Or put the sump through a wall or in a basement in its own dedicated area? i'd love the 150dd, but kinda outta my budget. Is it a marineland dd tank? I didn't know they made them rimless...

It's more than just building the stand to be bigger to accommodate the sump. It's making the entire "piece of furniture" flow with the basement. I'm sure it's possible, I just want to do it right the first time you know.

The tank is in the basement and I unfortunately don't have a way to utilize a room for the equipment. I'm lucky enough to have 2 tanks running currently as it is. My wife is a very understanding woman, but she does have her limits.

Both tanks were made by Glass Cages and despite the issues some have had, I have had zero issues with quality or customer service from them. I would buy from them again if the need arises.

"flow with the basement"..... Now you sound like the wife =)...... I just built a stand and trying to get a new tank up for a change over.....120g tank is leaking. I built a stand/sump and just ready to change over ....my wife says it doesn't flow with the furniture...... If I hear the word flow 1 more time... I'm gonna take my 22oz to the 120g......Now that will be some flow =).

Good luck with that.....my wife is cool with 2 tanks, bet she would like 1 larger instead.

"flow with the basement" was the wifes words. Sounds like they have been chatting :)

Good luck with your build. Hope it all works out and you have good FLOW.....;)

OK. Thought about this overnight and chatted with the wife.

We will let the entire package go for $1,200. This includes both tanks, the stand that both tanks are on, the separate stand for the 90g and the 40B sump.

The nice thing about the dual stand is it's able to be taken apart and used individually for each tank with minimal work. I built it with this in mind in case I ever wanted to split the tanks or sell one or the other.

This is a good price especially considering the cost of the 150g was more than this entire package is being sold for.

Individual pricing:

150G - $800
90G - $400
40B sump - $75

Would rather sell the entire thing as a whole, but I am willing to work with the buyer/buyers on this deal. I don't have to sell these, so please refrain from sending me PM's with ridiculous amounts. Buyer responsible for pick up. I will assist in loading as much as I can and I suggest you rent the glass carrying suction cups that you can rent at Rental Max. Last I checked, they were $16 or $17 for a pair. The 150G will need two pair. It's heavy and these things make it really easy to carry the tanks.

I will post pics later tonight. Again, both tanks are currently runing with livestock in each so their will need to be some dismantle time figured into the pickup and removal. I will be selling the Peacock Mantis shrimp in the 90 for whomever is interested. All other livestock, rock, sand, sump, skimmer, etc. etc. etc. is not included and not for sale.

Please feel free to ask questions.

Thanks,

Todd

Pictures as promised:

This is a 6" space between the tanks. You can somewhat see how the stand incorporates both tanks on one stand. Top and bottom of stand is 5/8" plywood. The plywood on the bottom is directly on the floor so the sump and everything sit inside the stand. The stand has silicone at all seams and then sealed with 3 coats of sealer. The rest of the stand is made of 2x4's.

Obviously the stand is not complete and was/is still a work in progress.

Just to remind everyone since I have been receiving questions through PM's....only the items listed are for sale. Nothing more. Not the skimmer, sump under the tank, lights, pumps, etc. etc. etc.....

Thank you
