Possible gig problem

I have had my gig for about 8 months now. It has been healthy, growing, coloring up and eating. friday it was totally deflated. It has never deflated in the entire 8 months !! Now this morning it is deflated again. Nothing has changed with my tank at all other than one of my angels has started to pick at its tentacles. Would it deflate due to irritation from the angel? Or should I be worried that it has gotten sick ?

Did you feed anything that could be spoiled? Check you equipments, could it be that the magnet in the pump cracked and the tank got metal toxic (both have cause gigantea death before)
A picture of you Gigantea normal and when he was deflated?

No they do not. They do not have brain so anything with certain compound will be ingested. They will eat spoiled food and died of infection. If you food is smelly, it is likely spoiled food. I don't feed anything but human food due to this problem. Silver side or frozen aquarium food is a big no no for me.

What did you feed it?

I would definitely get the angel out of there. I had a saddle that was great for a very long time and then I got a yellow tang ( of all things!) and i caught it picking at it. A little at first and then when the anemone would deflate a bunch more. I didnt get him out in time and the anemone died. He is gone now and my new saddle has never had a problem. I would wager greatly that it is the angel.
