Hey guys

These suckers are so hard to take pictures of! Here are my best attempts.

http://imgur.com/Qton1Qc,lnRoGsg#0 This is just a picture to show both of my clowns in the same picture. They look pretty dot free, UNTIL!! the one clown stretches out and you can see the little fuzzy transparent fins.

http://imgur.com/W7yANDM I circled the little white dot thing I found last night on my clownfish. :eek2:

It's visible on both sides when it's swimming around, so I was thinking perhaps its a stuck piece of sand? I noticed it last night when I was turning the lights off. Got around to getting a decent picture of it right now during feeding.

As for as behavior. It isn't scratching itself on rocks or anything, but it's SUPER active. It keeps going up and down one side of my tank, and swimming about. I feel like it's stressed out because it went from QT into the DT on the 11th, after being in QT for 4 weeks. It's also eating decently, not necessarily avoiding food or choosing not to.

I also added two mushrooms and a duncan 2 days ago that I purchased from Manhattan Aquariums.

How should I proceed from here, Reefcentral?

Most likely Lymphocystis, a virus which usually goes away on it's own. Try soaking his food in something like Selcon, Zoecon, or Vita-chem to expedite the healing process.

Fair enough, I'll order some with 1-day shipping off of Amazon.

Any recommendations on which you or anyone here would prefer using?

Cool, no Prime on Selcon, so I guess i'll get it from the LFS and pay extra.

I also decided that probably the PE Mysis only diet is probably not super good for my fishies. I picked up some NLS Thera A as well. Hopefully this will boost up their bodies + the Selcon dipped Mysis

I'm happy to report that after switching to some NLS Pellets, and soaking Selcon in the PE Mysis, the little white dot is almost all gone. It was progressively shrinking, which makes me think it's NOT the trophont stage of ich.

i have a kole tang in qt where he's been for several weeks. noticed what i *thought* was the beginnings of ich but several here said it was probably lympho. i started soaking his food in selcon or vitachem. over the past couple of days, the big warty growth on his tail fin (only spot left) is pretty much completely gone.

i'm gonna start using those supplements in my dt, too!
