Possible leak?

Im in the process of cycling my tank and for the past week i didnt notice the wood in front of the tank was dark from water.....should i be worried if this is a leak or just water spilled there? If it is a leak how can i tell?

Well have you been doing work in the tank? If you haven't, then it is probably a leak. I'd let it sit and not do anything to the tank. If the water doesn't dry up, or gets worse, then that should tell you.
