possible nano tank

hey guys,

Just ripped my 60g apart due to a mantis shrimp, cost and time

any ways, ive got a 10g that i've filled with LR and was wondering if its possibly to have a successful nano with a hang on tank filter and PC lights? no skimmer, sump or sand bed. Just live rock, one fish and some mushrooms.

any comments?

i had a 10g nano with 1.5" arag/sand mix. 20 lbs LR and closet mount fixture's in a DIY fixture once. replaced flourescent with Reef-Sun Actinics, and 18,000K. (18" tubes) it did very well with a Fire Goby, a pepermint shrimp, mushrooms, and a perk clown. the rock has pink, purple, blue coralline, all have been moved to other tanks. "Marineland" 110gph with bio-wheel/nitrate dispenser removed. using sponge along with "Purigen" (www.seachem.com) bags. had it over a year. good luck & REEF-ON!
