Possible reason my Remora not skimming much?

The first few months (about 3) I use to skim a lot of stuff. Dark stuff too, but lately in the last past month I have hardly skimmed. I mean, its somewhat foamie, but not much skimmate.

Why? I know its not my Remora AquaC, but is it because the skimmer has skimmed everything it needed to skim (for now). I have started to feed a little less every time. I got into this habit.

Is it a bad sign when skimmer skims less?

You might just need to clean it carefully, or various tank cleanup crew and related animals are doing more waste-processing.

So it might be a good thing that I am not skimming as much as before? I did clean the skimmer about a month or so ago. How often do people clean their skimmers?

I clean the collector cup about once a week, well, when I'm good I do it that frequently. The pump might need cleaning once a month or less frequently, depending on the tank. I'd also worry about the air input. Hard to say.

If nothing in the tank is having a problem, I wouldn't worry too much, but I always keep watch for troubles.
