I came across a small snail last night. I ended up killing it trying to get it out of the tank and into a specimen jar for a pic. :sad2:
It was small. Less that 1/8", probably half of that. Whitish in color, with small brown flecks or dots on the shell. The shell covered it from one end to the other. And the shell was articulated. At one point I tried to remove it with the extended prong of a Kent sea squirt feeder. When I was able to flip it on its back, the snail grabbed onto the end of the prong and wrapped itself around the end of the prong. The shell bent with it. Best way to describe it is as an aquatic rolly-polly.
Any ideas what it could be, or a site where I may be able to try to find a pic to identify i?
TIA
