I started this in another thread, but this is such a huge deal breaker for my system, I thought I would start my own.
I think I may have Uonema in my tank. I have no fish, just CUC, but if it is Uronema, it is still in there. The reason I think this is THE fish.
This is THE fish.
The fish that started it all. My fallowness (60 or so days in). My education. My becoming more of a responsible hobbyist. The fish that brought me to RC and the fish that has me reading as much as possible every night.
THE fish is no longer with us, but I took these pictures in the HT.

It's a bit hard to see. When this was happening, my fish for sure had Ich. I was treating in a HT with copper. I thought it had cut itself scratching on the rocks, and then the PVC, but that cut on it's side looks like it could be much worse. I read the stickies, and the fish did not lose color that much, it did not have a thick film, and it did not lose weight, but the wound just looks way too much like Uronema and it was having trouble breathing. I thought the HT might have needed more oxygen at the time.
I could not see adding fish if this is in my tank. What do you guys think? Am I resetting my whole system?
