Possible zoo molting???

My zoas do not seem to be opening up, and it seems that there is a thin layer of flesh molting off from 75% of the polyps. I have had them for about a month, and this started maybe 4 days ago. Havn't changed anything except addition of a skimmer, which I turned off.

Will post pic tomorrow.

dunno if molting is the problem, but I hae read the thread on dosing vitamin C. But does anyone think that dosing C will help. Should i move them to higher flow or less flow. They have moderate right now.

weird? Have you checked for pests? how is the Alk and PH? good luck

there was what looked like a sea wasp crawling around in there, he came out and met my teenage reefers fury(squished him). there was also a small brittle star(.5 inches), but he was there when the polyps were fine. pH is fine(8.3) and i dunno bout Alk, but it was fine a week ago.

Vitamin C won't hurt...

I would do a FW dip as the wasp sounds like a nudi. look for eggs that look like this@ except clear/white. good luck with them
