Possibly Ick?

ive just noticed over the weekend that my purple tang has some white specs on it and i was just wandering if this was ick or not? and what should i do to fix this problem? thanks!

good size cleaner shrimp, do you have one? not always the cure but they do work out well.

Get one of them, and then feed your fish a lot. Get him real fat full of healthy good quality food.

I have found that getting the fish the healthiest it can be is way better than dumping chimicals into the tank.

I would say
1) get cleaner shrimp
2) get your tang fat and happy
3) keep the tank as clean as possible. that means following the Idaho Protocall very carefully. (jxmetal knows all bout this one) It means that if you live in any other state besides Idaho (they have better water up there) you are required to do a 10% water change per week.
