I cant get my skimmer to produce any skimmate after chemiclean use.

Its either overflowing or nothing. Could this be because the chemicals have "trapped" the organics?

Any tricks out there its been two days.

Have you tried some water changes and some fresh carbon?

Yep, I did a 20% after 2 days of running the chemiclean. Also replaced the carbon.

adding chemicals to your tank sometimes cause skimmers to overflow or not produce enough bubbles, even adding fresh top off water to your tank will sometimes cause the skimmer to overflow or stop skimming, give it a few days before restarting your skimmer. it should go back to normal.

Chemiclean does such a number on skimmers. Give it more time to catchup back to normal.

I set mine to its lowest setting and then tweaked it a little at a time to get it back to normal. It takes 3-4 days.
