Post pics of your PipeFish. I'm thinking about getting one and was wondering what your tank setup looks like with them. Are you able to keep any other fish in with them?

just david were did you buy the mail. I can't find one of these guys in the country. What does he eat .

I found him at a shop in NH called Aqua Addicts. They get about 1/2 dozen at a time WHEN they can get them. Mine DOES eat pods and mysid (also takes a liking to peppermint shrimp fry) but has eaten frozen foods since day 1. When I feed my ponies, I shave a little frozen mysid into smallish pieces. He eats that as well as frozen cyclopeeze.

Wow great pics.Especially the bluestripe Dave! I've never been able to get pics of mine. I did get this guy though. Unfortunately a nasty scarlet reached over one day and snapped him in half. Right before my eyes!

While some pipes hover about like seahorses, the bluestripes are the opposite. Mine is a biological torpedo. He moves about like a 6 line wrasse.

What I found, is that if you use a flash and a tripod, you can get great shots. Sure, they look a little washed out, but you can fix that with an editor. Otherwise, you'll have nothing buy pretty, grateful dead looking "blurs" on your memory cards
